A successful Vendor Forum for RONA
Some 350 participants and close to 150 vendor partner companies attended the event where DeVry Greenhouses, Planchers innovatifs, and Produits Pylex were named Vendors of the Year
Boucherville, Québec, February 22, 2024 – RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers operating or servicing some 425 corporate and affiliated stores under different banners, held its Vendor Forum yesterday. As the most important season of the year in the home improvement industry is fast approaching, some 350 participants and 150 vendor partner companies attended the event to learn more about RONA’s priorities and strategies for the current year. Attendees also had the chance to interact with members of RONA’s Executive Leadership Team and Merchandising teams.
“Our Vendor Forum is a unique event that allows us to connect with our vendors and ensure we are aligned for the months ahead. It’s also a great opportunity to recognize and thank our vendors for their support and commitment. The past year marked a big milestone for our organization, and our vendors played a key role in helping us navigate the various changes we faced,” said Doug Young, Chief Merchandising Officer at RONA.
Three vendors rewarded
The remarkable work of three vendors was also highlighted during the event. They were recognized for their exceptional collaboration, creativity, agility, and product quality. “It’s important to me, and to all of us at RONA, to honour vendors who have embodied the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and dedication to excellence. This spirit defines our success and is part of our DNA,” added Doug Young.
