RONA celebrates the grand opening of a new dealer-owned store in La Crete, Alberta

The newly renovated RONA La Crete Building Centre presents a sales area thrice as big, offers hundreds of additional products, and created five extra jobs

Boucherville, QC – November 8, 2019 – Lowe’s Canada, one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, joins dealer-owners Andrew Zacharias, Andrew Neustaeter, and their team to celebrate the grand opening of their RONA La Crete Building Centre. Located at 10507, 95 Street in La Crete, Alberta, the store has been proudly displaying the RONA banner since January. For the last 10 months, Mr. Zacharias and Mr. Neustaeter have worked relentlessly to renovate their store, triple the size of their sales floor, and welcome hundreds of new products. They also hired five additional employees to better serve their community.

By leveraging years of experience serving professional customers and their partnership with RONA’s dedicated team of experts, Mr. Zacharias, Mr. Neustaeter and their associates leaped into the retail sphere of home improvement. “Our main focus is to cater to our community’s needs, and we joined RONA to provide our local customers with an enhanced product and service offering,” said Mr. Zacharias. “Our goal is to become the go-to destination not only for contractors, but also for homeowners and local DIYers looking for the right products and helpful advice needed to tackle their renovation projects.”

The newly renovated 20,000-sq.-ft. store features entirely new product categories, such as appliances and seasonal products, and a wider selection for existing categories that now include customers’ favourite brands like Craftsman.

“Mr. Zacharias, Mr. Neustaeter and their associates have a keen business acumen and are truly committed to serving their customers and their community. They demonstrate the hardworking and selfless traits shared by entrepreneurs across our RONA dealer network, and we are thrilled to help them seize opportunities to grow their business,” added Philippe Element, Vice-President, RONA & Ace, Sales and Dealer Support.
