RONA Deslongchamps celebrates the end of its Rivière-Rouge store renovations
The store features a redesigned showroom with a new selection of appliances and more seasonal products on display
Boucherville, QC – May 8, 2019 – Lowe's Canada, one of Canada’s leading home improvement companies, is celebrating the end of the renovation work at the RONA Deslongchamps store, located at 400 rue de l’Annonciation Sud, in Rivière-Rouge, Quebec. The dealer owner has completely redesigned the ground floor of the two-storey building in order to introduce an appliance department, improve the shopping experience, and enhance the showroom. The 6‑week renovation work represented an investment of $100,000. In total, 300 additional products are now available in store.
“Our priority is to meet the needs of professional and retail customers in and around Rivière-Rouge. The closure of the only appliance retailer in a 50-kilometre radius prompted us to undertake the work and train our employees to better serve the community,” stated Éric Deslongchamps, store owner. “We have introduced around twenty appliance models and have also taken the opportunity to improve foot traffic and enhance our seasonal product offering.”
Consumers in the Upper Laurentians will now find major appliance brands—such as GE and Samsung—at the RONA store in addition to a wider special-order selection. The new showroom allows customers to see and feel more product demos, including outdoor furniture and barbecues.
“Éric Deslongchamps and his team have once again shown their willingness to be one step ahead of their customers’ needs. They are very involved in the Upper Laurentians economic and social development and use their expertise and passion to benefit their community,” said Philippe Element, Vice-President, RONA & Ace Sales and Dealer Support. “We are proud to count RONA Deslongchamps among our network of dealer and to have been partners in their success since 2006.”
