RONA Fort Nelson Celebrates Its Newly Renovated Store

New categories and 2,000 new SKUs offered to Pro and DIY customers for their project needs

Boucherville, Québec, July 9, 2026 – RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, operating and servicing over 425 corporate and affiliated stores, congratulates Ed Bulley, as well as the entire team at RONA Fort Nelson in British Columbia, on the transformation of their store following renovations. A traditional board-cutting ceremony was held in the presence of several business partners and the store team to celebrate this milestone.

A fixture in the community since 1989, the store recently underwent a major transformation to better meet the needs of local customers. The project included a complete reflow and renovation of the store, as well as the renovation and reconfiguration of the showroom, work that was completed largely by the store owners and staff. The location now offers more than 18,000 square feet of retail space, an outdoor lumber yard with a covered building materials area, and a significantly enhanced shopping experience.

The transformation also included the addition of approximately 2,000 new SKUs, expanding the store’s assortment with products such as BBQs, patio furniture, kitchen cabinets, and a broader selection of in-stock and special-order items. New categories, such as seasonal products, and kitchen and bath, have been introduced to better serve homeowners and contractors alike. Customers will also notice new exterior RONA Affiliated Dealer signage and updated indoor directional signage throughout the store, reflecting the banner’s modernized look and improving navigation.
