For the sixth consecutive year, the organization is recognized for its leadership in sustainable development
Boucherville, Québec, April 21, 2026 – For the sixth consecutive year, RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, operating and servicing over 425 corporate and affiliated stores, has been named one of Canada’s Greenest Employers. This national competition is organized by Mediacorp to celebrate employers who stand out for their sustainable development initiatives and environmental awareness efforts in the workplace.

Organizations that are named “Greenest Employer” are evaluated using the following criteria:
- Unique environmental initiatives or programs they have developed
- Whether they have been successful in reducing their own environmental footprint
- Whether their employees are involved in these programs and contribute unique skills
- Whether their environmental initiatives have become linked to the employer's public identity, attracting new employees or customers
