RONA Lumby unveils revamped store with grand opening celebration
Boucherville, Québec, May 9, 2026 – RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, operating and servicing some 425 corporate and affiliated dealer stores, congratulates Wade Tearne and the RONA Lumby team on the grand opening of their newly transformed RONA Lumby store in British Columbia. To mark the occasion, leaders from RONA’s dealer support team, business partners and the RONA Lumby team gathered for a traditional board-cutting ceremony.
The RONA Lumby team carried out extensive renovations to better serve the community. The store, which boasts a 7,500-square-foot retail space and a 2,800-square-foot outdoor lumberyard, underwent a total building refacing, complete with new signage. The renovation has enabled the addition of 1,500 new products across several categories, including paint, lighting, fashion plumbing, kitchen cabinets, appliances, seasonal products and power tools.
“We’re thrilled to unveil the newly transformed RONA Lumby store after many months of hard work and dedication. This renovation allowed us to expand our range for professionals and DIY enthusiasts, helping us better serve the community and further reinforce our commitment to Lumby,” said Wade Tearne, RONA Lumby dealer.
“Affiliated dealers are first and foremost local business owners who truly understand the needs of their customers,” said Alain Ménard, Senior Vice President, RONA Affiliated Dealers. “Projects like the transformation of the RONA Lumby store show how committed dealers are to evolving their businesses, investing in their stores and offering a stronger, more relevant experience to the communities they proudly serve. We are proud to support entrepreneurs like Wade Tearne and his team.”
