RONA now offers a tool rental service in Golden Mile

The company takes another step in positioning itself as a true one-stop-shop for Pros and DIYers by offering both the materials and the professional grade tools needed to complete projects end to end

Boucherville, Quebec, May 20, 2026 – RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, operating and servicing over 425 corporate and affiliated stores, is expanding beyond products and enabling projects from start to finish with the addition of tool rentals in its RONA+ Golden Mile store, in Toronto. The retailer partners with OnSite Rentals, a company led by industry leaders who scaled one of North America’s most successful tool rental platforms, to launch this new service which will be rolled out in selected stores throughout the year.

A partnership to build an interconnected experience driven by technology

With this partnership comes a rental platform aiming to make renting fast, seamless, and consistent across web, mobile, and instore interactions. The platform integrates RONA’s systems with OnSite Rentals’ rental ecosystem allowing customers to plan, reserve, and pick up tools in one unified experience. Customers can rent commercial grade tools such as augers, jack hammers, floor refinishing tools, and concrete saws, as well as large equipment like tractor loaders, backhoes, and dump trailers.
