RONA Oakville unveils revamped store with grand opening celebration

5 new jobs created in the Oakville community

Boucherville, Quebec, April 16, 2026 – RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, operating and servicing over 425 corporate and affiliated dealer stores, congratulates RONA Oakville’s leadership and team on the grand opening of their newly transformed RONA Oakville store in Ontario. For the occasion, leaders from RONA’s dealer support team, business partners and the RONA Oakville team gathered for the traditional board-cutting ceremony.

The Oakville location underwent a 36-week comprehensive renovation following the store’s conversion in April 2025. In addition to a complete building refacing and new signage, the store now boasts a fully renovated specialty showroom.

Customers can now benefit from an expanded tool line, a comprehensive hardware line and an enhanced Pro assortment thanks to 40,000 square feet of retail space and three acres of outdoor lumberyard, all designed to better serve both DIYers and Pros.

Beyond expanding the offer for DIY enthusiasts and professionals, the upgraded store will deliver a refreshed and welcoming customer experience, supported by five new team members who have joined the Oakville store.
