RONA Presents $415,000 To Fondation Charles-Bruneau To Fight Pediatric Cancer
For the 11th consecutive year, RONA’s employees, vendor partners and affiliated dealers took part in the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau, which was held on July 10, 2026
Boucherville, Québec, July 10, 2026 – From July 4 to 10, 2026, members of the RONA network, one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, operating and servicing over 425 corporate and affiliated stores, took part in the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau for the 11th consecutive year and raised $415,000 to support pediatric cancer research in Québec. This year, RONA’s team consisted of 67 cyclists, including employees, vendor partners and RONA affiliated dealers, who biked over 6,000 km together to contribute to a childhood without cancer.
“I am so proud of the incredible commitment shown by our employees, affiliated dealers and vendors who came together once again to work towards a healthy future for all children in Québec. The number of cyclists in our network who take part in the Tour every year says a lot about how much we care about this cause. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 2026 Tour! You truly are a source of hope for the families of children with cancer in our province,” said Amélie Savoie, Vice-President, Merchandising at RONA inc. and captain of the RONA cycling team for the past five years.
Together for a childhood without cancer
Out of all the participants in the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau, Amélie Savoie once again raised the highest amount of donations. “It’s by coming together that we can move forward, and I’m thrilled to be with you today and see the positive results of our efforts over the past few months. Thanks to the generosity of RONA’s vendors and of our networks, we succeeded again in working together to support a cause that is so dear to us,” she added at the event’s closing ceremony.
