RONA Receives Fourth ENRGY STAR® Award

Boucherville, QC, September 26, 2023 – RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers operating or servicing some 425 corporate and affiliated stores under different banners, is proud to receive a Special Recognition ENERGY STAR Canada Award. This is the fourth ENERGY STAR award received by RONA.

This award acknowledges RONA’s commitment to offering Canadians a wide selection of certified energy-efficient products and technologies. Some of the highlights that contributed to RONA receiving this award include:

  • An increased participation in the Canadian Greener Homes Grant through the promotion of eligible ENERGY STAR certified products.
  • Having trained more than 10,000 store employees on environmentally responsible products, including the benefits of the ENERGY STAR certification.
  • Promoting mostly ENERGY STAR certified products in key categories such as household appliances and recessed lighting.
  • Increasing the visibility of ENERGY STAR certified products by displaying them on several mediums along with additional content on energy benefits.
