The RONA Rosaire Mathieu store in Wickham gets a makeover
Boucherville, QC – September 9, 2020 – Lowe’s Canada, one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers operating or servicing more than 470 corporate and affiliated stores under different banners, is proud to announce that major renovations are currently underway at the RONA store in Wickham, operated by dealer owner Rosaire Mathieu Inc. The Mathieu family making a substantial investment in this project, which will add nearly 4,000 ft2 to the store’s sales floor. The indoor and outdoor layout will also be transformed to provide an open space shopping environment and maximize the product offering.
“Our priority is meeting the constantly evolving needs of regional DIYers and contractors, while also providing unparalleled service in a safe environment,” said Carl Mathieu, one of the store owners. “These renovations are part of our long-term vision of becoming a key destination for home improvement and landscaping projects. We started by enhancing our selection of building materials, then broadened our product assortment by offering online shopping at rona.ca. We are now expanding our store to grow our selection and offer thousands of additional products.”
The store will remain open during the renovation, which should be completed in December. Customers will see the product offering expand progressively across all departments, especially in horticulture, lighting, fashion plumbing, exterior sidings, as well as doors and windows. In addition, a wide range of seasonal products will be available in the new open-floor section that will be set up just in time for the Holiday season.
