Build from the Heart

Build from the Heart was launched to mark the 25th anniversary of the RONA Foundation. Its goal is to provide financial support to non-profits that have a project aimed at revitalizing a living environment or facilitating access to housing for people in need. More specifically, this program is intended to help victims of domestic violence and their children, low-income families and people with disabilities or mental health issues.

Charities wishing to submit their project to benefit from the program have from May 12 to June 9, 2023 to apply. For more details on eligibility criteria and terms, browse the program rules.

The Heroes campaign

The Heroes campaign gives employees from our network the opportunity to get involved in their communities by supporting a local non-profit organization of their choosing. Throughout September, employees raise money in stores to help these organizations fulfil their mission or carry out a specific project. At the end of the campaign, we match 50% of customer donations, up to $2,000 per store.

In 2019, we received a Philanthropic Leadership award at the Retail Council of Canada’s Excellence in Retailing Awards Gala for our Heroes campaign, which helps transform neighbourhoods into communities.
